
In First Wood Workshop, I learned the kind of wood according to the different parts of the wood and the tools when the wood is processed. Mostly, I used softwood in my work. The most exciting thing was using the chisel. I had to use a chisel for cutting around wood, which was the best tool. Also, I learned typical wooden joint methods. Bridle, Butt Joint, Dovetail Joint, Tenon and Mortise, Lap Joint, I prefer and used Tenon and Mortise Joint in my project because when blocks are combined, this standard method is best accessible for everyone playing toy. And, They said that indicating where I want to cut is very important because when I make something using wood makers will be able to confuse easily.

At the wood workshop, I learned how to grind round shapes using sandpaper in the middle part of the wood. Grinding sharp wood corners is an important step. Also, using sandpaper is easier to make some shapes I want.
